Icaraí de Amontada - tropical paradise





Life goes quietly into the Icaraí Amontada, also called Icaraizinho by its residents. In the fishing village, the attractions are in the swim, which at low tide pools wins, the hiking trails on native forests and the practice of windsurfing or kitesurfing, taking into account the winds that blow through there are perfect sailing. Who are not intimate with candles and kites can follow the maneuvers of the sand, on the heels of reggae and a good coconut water.

History



The territory was part of Amontada land of Indians and Tremembé traced back to early eighteenth century when the Jesuits took their first steps towards the catechesis of Tremembé. At the time of deployment of livestock farming in Ceará, Portuguese had this location as a landing site for the cowboys who came from the hills of Uruburetama and rest on the river Aracatiaçu.
